PRO: Back in Green and White after initially signing with the Club and joining the practice roster in October. Fields II began his professional football career when he signed with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent in 2019. Following training camp, he was traded to the Minnesota Vikings, with whom he saw action in one regular-season game. He split the 2020 season between the Vikings and Houston Texans, playing in four games and recording two defensive tackles. He spent time with the San Fransisco 49ers in 2021.

 

COLLEGE: Played played four collegiate seasons (2016-19) at Clemson University, suiting up in 46 games. As a Tiger, he recorded 45 tackles (five for a loss), one sack, 12 pass deflections, one interception, which he returned for a touchdown. He helped Clemson capture the College Football Playoff National Championship to cap the 2016 and 2018 seasons. He logged two pass breakups against Alabama in the 2018 championship game.

 

FAST FACT: His father, Mark Fields I, was an NFL linebacker with the New Orleans Saints (1995 to 2000), St. Louis Rams (2001) and Carolina Panthers (2000 to 2004). He played in the 2000 and 2004 Pro Bowls. The year before the second Pro Bowl appearance, he was forced to miss the 2003 season after being diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease.
