Riders Make Deal with Tiger-Cats

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have acquired national defensive lineman Linden Gaydosh and international wide receiver Tommy Streeter along with fourth round and seventh round selections in the 2017 CFL Draft from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

In exchange, the Riders have sent national defensive lineman Justin Capicciotti and international offensive lineman Xavier Fulton to the Ti-Cats.

Gaydosh (6’4 – 298) is in his third CFL season after originally being selected by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the 1st round (1st overall) of the 2013 CFL Draft. The Peace River, Alberta native signed with the Carolina Panthers in May, 2013 before joining Hamilton midway through the 2014 season.

The 25-year-old Gaydosh has played 10 career CFL regular season games, registering two tackles and a pass knockdown.

Streeter (6’5 – 215) joined the Tiger-Cats practice roster in August but has yet to play a CFL game. After originally being selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the 6th round (198th overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft, the 27-year-old Miami native spent time with the Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over three seasons.

Fulton spent five seasons with the Riders starting all 75 games played. He was a member of the Riders 2013 Grey Cup championship.

Capicciotti was in his first season with Riders after signing with the team as a free agent in February. He played 14 games, with eight starts, registering 24 defensive tackles and two quarterback sacks.
