Training camp preview: Quarterbacks

OVERVIEW

Trevor Harris returns as the starter after missing the final 13 games of last season with a knee injury. The Roughriders had a 3-1 record when Harris was available for the entirety of a game last season. Mason Fine, a fourth-year Roughrider, took over as the starter after Harris was hurt. Shea Patterson and Antonio Pipkin both served in a short-yardage role last season. The coaches are excited to see the full repertoires of Patterson and Pipkin. Jack Coan, the only newcomer in this quintet, started at Wisconsin and Notre Dame in the NCAA.
