The final countdown is on to the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation Winter Classic presented by BASF Canadian Agriculture Solutions! Puck drop takes place at Merlis Belsher Place in Saskatoon at 12:30 p.m. on February 3, 2024.
The event, now in its second year, is organized by Roughrider kicker Brett Lauther, who will also serve as captain of Team Lauther presented by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Former Roughrider receiver Chris Getzlaf will head Team Getzlaf presented by McDougall Auctioneers.
With the event just five days away, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation is pleased to announce the full list of Roughriders, Roughrider Alumni, NHL alumni and elite athletes who will be participating in the game.

Proceeds from the Roughrider Foundation Winter Classic presented by BASF will help support the Roughrider Foundation’s Win with Wellness presentation series, which brings trained Roughrider player ambassadors into Saskatchewan classrooms to speak about and promote the mental wellness. The game itself is sure to be fun for the whole family and will include a Kids Zone, special giveaways and in-game activations, as well as a player meet and greet and autograph session after the game.
Tickets to the Winter Classic are $25 for ages 13 and above. Children under the age of 12 are free with an adult ticket and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.
