Riders Announce First Of Many 2013 Stars Returning For Sasktel Plaza Of Honour Induction
The 2013 Grey Cup’s Most Outstanding Player, Kory Sheets, and fan favourites Tyron Brackenridge, Tristan Jackson, Chris Getzlaf and Neal Hughes will be among the many members of the 2013 team returning to Saskatchewan for a celebration of the 10-year anniversary of the Grey Cup Championship and their team induction into the SaskTel Plaza of Honour.
This is just the first announcement of the dozens of players and personnel who have committed to returning to Saskatchewan for a weekend filled with community appearances, autograph sessions and fan interactions.
“We are thrilled to be able to bring back players and personnel from our 2013 Championship Team, who created so many lasting memories for Rider Nation,” said Roughriders President and CEO Craig Reynolds. “This special weekend, which includes a special halftime induction ceremony on October 7th, will create new memories between the players and fans as we celebrate one of the Club’s greatest moments and people who made it all possible.”
Fans are encouraged to keep an eye on Roughriders social media channels as more 2013 players and personnel attending will be announced throughout the month. A schedule of the weekend’s events, including media opportunities, will be released closer to the game.

Fast Facts: Brackenridge had three interceptions in 2013 and 2014, earning CFL all-star honours both years. A fan favourite defender, he was known for his big hits and was named the Roughriders Most Outstanding Defensive Player on a team full of big defensive playmakers.
