2023 SaskTel Plaza of Honour Class Announced

Celebrate the Inductees and the Anniversary of the 2013 Grey Cup at ‘Legends Night’ on October 7th

The Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation, alongside the Plaza of Honour Committee, has announced that builder Wendy Kelly (posthumous) and the 2013 Grey Cup team will be inducted into the 2023 SaskTel Plaza of Honour.

The 2013 Saskatchewan Roughriders team will forever have a place in Rider Nation’s heart, providing unrivaled memories to our fans as they celebrated the team’s fourth Grey Cup win, which took place on our home soil.

Kelly will be the first woman to be inducted into the Plaza of Honour as an individual after tirelessly volunteering her time to the Green and White over many years. Along with her Plaza first, Kelly was also the first woman to serve on the Roughriders’ Board.

“I want to congratulate Wendy and the 2013 Roughriders team on their induction into the Plaza of Honour,” said Roughriders President and CEO Craig Reynolds. “Their remarkable contributions to the Club will forever be etched in the memories of Rider Nation and I have no doubt Wendy will be smiling down on us as we celebrate at Mosaic Stadium on October 7.”

The inductees will be honoured in a special halftime ceremony at the home game on October 7 – Legends Night & 2013 Grey Cup Anniversary – and tickets are available now!

The Club will be giving away FREE Replica 2013 Grey Cup Championship Rings to the first 5,000 fans. Don’t miss out on this historic night of celebration and an incredible giveaway!

Additional community events and fan interactions with members of the 2013 team will take place in the days leading up to October 7th game and will be announced in the coming weeks.

The annual SaskTel Plaza of Honour has inducted 138 individuals who have made major contributions to the proud tradition of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club. The Club has also previously inducted the 1966, 1989 and 2007 Grey Cup championship teams.
