Coors Light Training Camp Report Day 6

On the hottest day of camp so far, fans got a good look at punters Kaare Vedvik and James Smith as they launched a couple of balls into the stratosphere. The defensive line put pressure on quarterbacks and the defensive backs broke up several plays during the team scrimmage.

The backup quarterbacks saw more reps today and the crowd witnessed some strong plays from Mason Fine, Jake Dolegala and Troy Williams as well as some exciting receptions from a variety of the Clubs’ receivers.

While the players practiced without pads on today, they will strap the pads back on tomorrow which is sure to liven up the team drills.

Quote of the Day

  • A lot of times you see a middle linebacker and you want to get your running back out there running routes and he’s not a mismatch. He does a great job covering man-to-man coverage. I’m just excited to see him in green so he’s not chasing me around. I told him it’s good not to see him in my nightmares anymore wearing red.” – Quarterback Cody Fajardo on linebacker Darnell Sankey

Tomorrow

  • Practice runs from 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. at Griffiths Stadium
