Roughriders Hold Annual General Meeting

The Saskatchewan Roughriders held their 2017-18 Annual General Meeting June 20th in the Shumiatcher Room at the Conexus Arts Centre.

FINANCIAL REPORT

During the financial report, Saskatchewan Roughrider Chief Financial Officer Kent Paul revealed the Football Club reported a profit of $781,930. The Club recorded operating revenues of $37.3 million.

TICKET SALES

Gate receipts generated $16.7 million in revenue for the 2017 season, up slightly from the prior year thanks in part to the Inaugural Season at Mosaic Stadium.

MERCHANDISE SALES

The Club continued to set the pace in merchandise sales among the nine CFL teams. The Club recorded $6.8 million in sales, which was a $612,000 increase from the prior year. 

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

The Board of Directors welcomed two new members as MacKenzie Firby and Douglas Hodson were elected for a three-year term. Continuing with the Board are Arnie Arnott, Randy Beattie, Barry Clarke, Rhonda Ekstrom, Terri Harris, Dave Pettigrew, Jeff Stusek, Rob Vanderhooft.

Wayne Morsky was re-elected as Chair.
