The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today national receiver Kevin Francis has signed with the team. The Riders had acquired Francis’s rights in the CFL Supplemental Draft earlier this week.
Francis (6’5 – 220) has spent the last four seasons at North Carolina A&T where he played 34 career collegiate games, starting 10. The 22-year-old Brooklyn, NY native collected 17 receptions for 163 yards and was a key contributor on special teams totaling eight tackles.
He was deemed an eligible national as he was originally born in Toronto before moving to New York.
