Rob joined the Roughriders coaching staff as the Running Backs Coach in 2021 with a career spanning seven years. He began coaching in 2014 at the CEGEP level in Quebec where he spent three seasons, the final of which he was promoted to defensive coordinator. The defence led the league in interceptions all three years he was there. In 2017, Rob accepted a job with the Edmonton Elks, working with the CFL’s top offence and 2017 Most Outstanding Player Michael Reilly. The following season, he transitioned to the assistant defensive backs coach. In 2019, Rob made the jump to USPORTS as the offensive coordinator at Saint Mary’s in the AUS conference. That season the Huskies were second in the conference in all passing categories.

Prior to coaching, he played collegiately at the University of Ottawa.
