2024: Meyers made his CFL debut Aug. 8 at Ottawa, catching eight passes for 101 yards. That was the sixth-best receiving-yardage total by a Roughrider in his first CFL game … also caught eight passes for 101 yards on Aug. 16 vs. Montreal, becoming the first Roughrider to reach 100-plus yards in his first two CFL games … caught first CFL touchdown pass, Sept. 1. vs. Winnipeg … 24 receptions for 349 yards and one TD in five games.
PRO: Meyers attended rookie camp with the Atlanta Falcons following the 2023 NFL Draft.
COLLEGE: Meyers spent his first two collegiate seasons (2018-19) at Presbyterian College in Clinton, S.C., where he logged 54 catches for 671 yards and seven touchdowns. He subsequently spent two seasons (2021-22) at Delta State University in Cleveland, Miss. In 24 games with the Statesmen, he caught 120 passes for 1,542 yards and 13 touchdowns and also rushed twice for 30 yards. In 2021, he caught 55 passes for 665 yards and five touchdowns. He followed up in 2022 with 65 receptions for 877 yards and eight scores. He was second in the Gulf Coast Conference in receiving yards and earned First-Team All-Conference honours.
FAST FACT: Meyers caught a four-yard touchdown pass in his second CFL pre-season game — a 28-27 victory over the host Edmonton Elks on May 25, 2024.
