2024: Auclair registered his first interception as a Roughrider on July 19 versus Winnipeg … six defensive tackles, one sack and two special teams tackles, Aug. 3 vs. Edmonton … nine defensive tackles, Aug. 8 at Ottawa … second interception of the season, Sept. 28 vs. Ottawa … interception shortly before halftime set up field goal, Oct. 5 at Edmonton.
PRO: Auclair was selected by the Ottawa REDBLACKS in the first round (sixth overall) of the 2020 CFL Draft. The 2020 season was then cancelled as a result of COVID-19. He made his CFL debut in 2021 and spent the next three seasons with Ottawa. In 42 games with the REDBLACKS, he registered 119 defensive tackles, 30 special teams tackles, two sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles.In 2023, he posted career-best totals of 63 defensive tackles and 14 special teams tackles.
COLLEGE: Auclair played for the Laval Rouge et Or from 2016 to 2019. He was a second-team All Canadian in 2016 and a first-team All-Canadian the following year. Also in 2017, he was named the Standup Defensive Player of the Year. Auclair helped Laval win the Vanier Cup in 2016 and 2019. After the 2019 Vanier Cup, in which he registered 10.5 defensive tackles and one sack, he was named the Player of the Game.
FAST FACT: On Sept. 22, 2023, Auclair posted a career-high 10 defensive tackles for the REDBLACKS against the visiting Roughriders.
