How long have you been dancing/cheering?
I have been dancing for 18 years.
What are your career aspirations outside of being on the Cheer Team?
I spend my days teaching barre and bounce classes at Fit Project Studio, training new fitness instructors to join our team, and working on other fun behind the scenes studio things! I recently graduated from the University of Regina with a Bachelor of Education specializing in middle years and have been subbing in Prairie Valley School Division since January on days that I am not busy at the studio. I also danced with the University of Regina Dance Team as I worked towards my degree and am excited to be joining the team again this season as an assistant coach!
What is your favorite thing to do on a day off?
My favorite thing to do on a day off is to go out to my farm to spend time with my family or go to the cabin and spend the day on the water.
What are you most excited for this season?
This season I am most excited to be dancing with my friends again surrounded by all of the energy that Rider Nation brings on Game Day!
What is your favorite part of Game Day?
Game Days bring me so much joy! I love meeting young Rider Fans, especially those that aspire to be on the Rider Cheer Team one day. I think my favorite part of Game Day is feeling the stadium vibrate with excitement when the fans cheer the players onto the field before kickoff and the same rumble through the stands with every Rider touchdown.
