Ty Robinson returns to the Roughriders for his fourth season as Assistant Equipment Manager in 2024.

Robinson assists Equipment Manager Gordon Gilroy, outfitting the players with the safest and most advanced equipment as well as ordering and maintaining all of the team’s equipment, jerseys and sideline apparel.

Robinson has grown up in the locker room atmosphere, starting as a stick boy for the Kamloops Blazers, handling all sorts of duties including filling water bottles, doing laundry. Eventually, he became the trainer for the Junior B Kamloops Storm of the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League, augmenting that position with summer work as assistant equipment manager for the Kamloops Broncos of the Canadian Junior Football League. He then went on to work for the Thompson Blazers of the B.C. Major Midget League before moving to the Junior A ranks and the Vernon Vipers.
