Stephen Sorrells is in his third season as Saskatchewan’s offensive line coach.

In 2018, Sorrell’s offensive line gave up the leagues fewest quarterback sacks with 27, while paving the way for the league’s second best running total averaging 111.9 yards per game.

A product of Greenville, Ala., Sorrells spent the 2016 season as a graduate assistant at Southern Methodist University. Prior to that, he worked as the offensive line coach and assistant head coach at Pearl River Community College.

Sorrells also has coaching experience from his days at the University of Alabama-Birmingham (2014), Kenyon College (2012-13), Occidental College (2010-12) and Faulkner University (2007-08).

As a player, Sorrells started three seasons on the offensive line at Fort Dale Academy in Greenville, Ala.
