I decided to come back to the team because Rider Nation is such an amazing and fun community to be a part of! The women on this team have also been such a positive influence on my life and it is such an amazing sisterhood to be a part of!
My favourite memory was getting the to see the new Obsidian branding and the Riders making it to the Western Final! It was such an exciting season! Dancing with the Jonas brothers was also an amazing bonus!
A bit more about Mikaylah
She was born and raised in Regina Saskatchewan, but her family is from Jamaica! She started dancing at the age of 4 at Dance Plus in Regina – dancing competitively until 2017.
Mikaylah graduated with my Bachelor of Human Justice in 2022. Since then, she has had a wide range of jobs from Domestic Violence Counsellor to Legal Assistant. Now she works as a social worker for youths with social services and is very grateful for the ability make a positive impact.
In her spare time, she can be found hanging out with friends, going on walks, trying an escape room, or binging TV shows! She is also a dog mom to her favourite girl – Myla.
