Bio
I auditioned for the Rider Cheer Team because I love to dance and perform. I’ve made the best friends and have the opportunity to learn different styles of dance from Coach Court! I’m a Rider fan, and the Roughrider organization is awesome to work for, and we have the best fans in the league!
My favourite memories each year are travelling to different small towns and communities within Saskatchewan to promote the team. The hospitality and Rider Pride in these communities are phenomenal!
A bit more about Miera
Off the field, she is working towards a degree in Creative Technology and a certificate in the Foundations of Science at the University of Regina. The U of R Dance team is part of her university experience as well. She enjoys the blend of technology and her love for the arts – especially dancing, singing, and songwriting.
She has been dancing since she could walk, and it remains one of her greatest passions! Whether it’s perfecting a routine for the field, choreographing routines, or performing on stage, her love for movement and rhythm shines through! In addition to dancing, she plays a variety of sports.
Miera grew up in Lumsden SK – where she played lots of sports like volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball, softball, and of course dance.
