I auditioned for the Rider Cheer Team because it is so fulfilling to be able to dance with my best friends and be a part of Rider Nation! This team makes me feel so empowered to do what I love and be able to showcase that on and off the field!
My favourite memory was experiencing the Riders win our 2024 home playoff game! Being on the sidelines and feeling the energy of the whole stadium is a crazy unmatched feeling!
A bit more about Kayla
Kayla was born in Regina and grew up in White City and is currently enrolled in Business Administration at the University of Regina.
She started dancing at the age of 3 at Martin School of Dance and Baton Twirling. She trained in both dance and baton and now teaches tap. She is a proud member of the U of R dance team and loves being a part of a team and fueling her passion for dance with these various opportunities!
Aside from dance, she is a jewellery Sales Associate at Bellezza Moda here in Regina! And in her free time, you can find her hanging out with friends, listening to music, at the lake, or binging a good show.
