I auditioned for the Rider Cheer Team this year to dance, make unforgettable memories, and be part of celebrating Rider Nation – Sask has the best fans in the league! They bring the energy and make every game day electric.
One of my favourite memories from last season was performing at halftime with the Jonas Brothers. It was such a surreal experience and sharing that moment with my friends and teammates made it even more special. I also love hearing “O Canada” before every game; the entire stadium vibrates, the fans are screaming, and the energy is unreal. I get chills every single time!
A bit more about Josi
She currently works as a Critical Care Registered Nurse in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Regina General Hospital. She graduated from nursing school in December 2022 and completed her critical care certification shortly after.
Outside of work, Josi stays busy with her two chocolate labs, Kona (5) and Ellie (1). Whether we’re out four-wheeling, swimming in dugouts, going for walks, or spending time with friends, they are always on the move. She will also never pass up a chance to go line dancing or two-stepping (especially with Jas).
