Bio
I originally auditioned for the Rider Cheer Team because I love to perform, showcase baton and be around people. However, these are not the only reasons I continue to audition. The people both on and off the field are outstanding – the Roughrider Football Club staff, our coach, the impactful women on the team and most importantly the best fans in the league, our 13th man, Rider Nation!
My favourite memory is from last year’s Grey Cup Festival in Vancouver when I was able to sell 5 calendars on the airplane before we left the runway.
A bit more about Jas
She is an elementary school teacher with the Regina Catholic School Division, thrilled to be heading into my fifth year in the classroom. Teaching has been a rewarding part of her life – she loves creating spaces where students feel inspired, supported, and excited to learn.
When Jas isn’t teaching, you’ll usually find her on the dance floor. She teaches line dance lessons in Regina and loves any excuse to sneak in a two-step. Beyond that, she is honoured to serve as the Athlete Commissionaire for the International Baton Twirling Federation, proudly representing Canada.
