PRO: Rose joined the Roughriders after eight strong seasons with the Calgary Stampeders that included three All-CFL nods (2021-23), four West All-CFL nods (2021-24) and a Grey Cup championship in 2018. In 86 regular-season games with Calgary, he registered 143 defensive tackles, five special teams tackles, 36 sacks and two interceptions (one of which he returned for a touchdown) and three forced fumbles. In 2024, Rose had a team-high six sacks for Calgary in 18 regular-season games, to go with an 83-yard interception-return TD. He had a career-high 11 sacks in 2023. Rose had signed with Calgary on May 24, 2017. In 2016, he had signed with the NFL’s New York Giants as an undrafted free agent. He spent training camp and the pre-season with the Giants in 2016.
COLLEGE: Rose played in 51 games over four seasons (2012 to 2015) at North Carolina State, registering 121 defensive tackles (34 for a loss), 17 sacks and four forced fumbles.
FAST FACT: Rose registered his first CFL sack against Saskatchewan on July 6, 2019 at Mosaic Stadium.
