2023: Herdman-Reed registered 10 special teams tackles in 16 games with the Calgary Stampeders.

PRO: Herdman-Reed was chosen by the B.C. Lions in the seventh round, 60th overall, of the 2017 CFL Draft. He played in all 18 games in each of his first two CFL seasons, posting special teams tackles totals of 19 (in 2017) and 17 (2018). He added 56 defensive tackles and two sacks in 2018. In 16 games with the Lions in 2019, he registered 37 defensive tackles, eight special teams tackles, one sack and one forced fumble. He subsequently spent the 2021 and 2022 seasons with Saskatchewan, posting six special teams tackles and one defensive tackle in 17 games as a teammate of his twin brother, Justin. He signed with Calgary on May 24, 2023.

COLLEGE: Herdman-Reed played four seasons at Simon Fraser, twice earning Great Northwest Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year honours. He set the school record for career defensive tackles (428)

FAST FACT: Herdman-Reed owns Simon Fraser’s single-game record for tackles (26). He had 17 solo tackles and nine assists on Oct. 31, 2015 versus Humboldt State in Arcata, Calif.
