2024: After being selected by the Roughriders in the fifth round (41st overall) of the 2024 CFL Draft, Johnson attended rookie mini-camp with the NFL’s Indianapolis Colts. The signing of Johnson was announced on May 14 … spent 2024 season on the practice roster.

COLLEGE: Johnson spent two collegiate seasons (2022-23) with the Purdue Boilermakers. In 2023, Johnson dressed for 10 games and started in four. He allowed only eight quarterback hurries, one quarterback hit and one sack. Before enrolling at Purdue, he appeared in 13 games at Kent State, drawing four starting assignments.

FAST FACT: Johnson was born in a refugee camp in Nairobi, Kenya. His family moved to London, Ont., when he was one year old.
