2026: Signed by Roughriders, April 6.

CFL: Crawford signed with Saskatchewan after spending the previous five seasons (2021-25) with the Calgary Stampeders. He played in 68 games for the Stamps, earning 16 special teams tackles and one defensive tackle. He was voted the CFLPA’s all-star long snapper in 2022. Crawford was selected by the Toronto Argonauts in the sixth round (40th overall) of the 2012 CFL Draft. He spent time with the Argos, Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers before landing with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, with whom he played from 2013 to 2020 and suited up for 98 regular season games. Entering the 2026 season, Crawford has played in 166 career regular-season games, 10 playoff games and two Grey Cup Games, making two defensive tackles and 39 special teams tackles.

COLLEGE: Crawford played 13 games at linebacker in two seasons (2009 and 2011) at Saint Mary’s. He recorded 55 1/2 career tackles (including eight for a loss) for the Huskies, adding 3 1/2 sacks, three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles. He was part of Saint Mary’s Atlantic University Sport conference championship team in 2009. In his final season with the Huskies, he recorded 33 tackles including four tackles for loss, 1 1/2 sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

JUNIOR: In 2008, Crawford played junior football for the Victoria Rebels and won the team’s defensive player of the year award. He also played junior for the Chilliwack Valley Huskers (2005) and Regina Thunder (2006-07).

FAST FACT: On April 6, Crawford set the record for most days between contractual affiliations with the Roughriders: 4,676. He initially signed with the Roughriders on Oct. 3, 2012, when he was added to the practice roster. He attended training camp with Saskatchewan the following year before being released on June 17, 2013.
