Jeff Stusek

Jeff Stusek joins the Roughriders’ coaching staff for the 2026 season after lending his time, passion and expertise to local football at every level.
Stusek is hardly a newcomer to the Roughriders, having served as a guest coach at Coors Light Training Camp in 2024 and 2025. He was a member of the community-owned team’s Board of Directors from 2010 to 2019, serving three three-year terms. He was the Vice-Chair for part of his tenure on the Board. As the Vice-Chair, he sat on the CFL’s Board of Governors. He also chaired the CFL’s Amateur Football Committee.
Stusek joined the University of Regina Rams as their Receivers Coach in 2017 and spent three seasons in that capacity. He was named the Special Teams Co-ordinator in 2020 and added Assistant Head Coach to his responsibilities in 2022.
Additionally, Stusek was Team Saskatchewan’s Head Coach when it won Football Canada Cup titles in 2018 and 2019. In the latter year, he was Team Canada’s Special Teams Co-ordinator and Receivers Coach.
Along with spending time at the provincial and national levels, he coached high school football for six years (three each with the Usher Unicorns and Campbell Tartans) and in Regina Minor Football for seven seasons. He was RMF’s President and Chair from 2020 to 2024.
Stusek’s extensive football resume extends to the junior level. He was the President of the Regina Thunder (Prairie Football Conference) from 2008 to 2010.
Also a success in his professional life, Stusek was the President and CEO of Information Services Corporation (ISC) from August 2006 to January of 2022. He earned two degrees from the U of R — a Bachelor of Business Administration (1992) and Master of Business Administration (2000). He worked for the City of Regina for 13 years, serving as the Director of Transit and in technology roles.
Stusek and his wife Sheryl have two sons, Carter and Bennett. Carter, who was a linebacker with the Thunder from 2006 to 2011, has been the Rams’ Assistant Linebackers Coach since 2022. Bennett was a receiver with the Rams for five seasons. Carter and Bennett Stusek played for the Campbell Tartans. Their father was a star running back with Usher in the 1980s.
Jeff Stusek is only the second person to join the Roughriders’ coaching staff on a full-time basis after serving on the Board. The first was Plaza of Honour and Canadian Football Hall of Fame inductee Al Ritchie. “The Silver Fox” joined the Board in 1920 and maintained a prominent role in the team’s hierarchy for most of the 1920s. He coached the team in 1928 (Grey Cup only), 1930, 1931, 1932, 1933 and 1935.
