Strong Kids Strong Minds, Psychology Canada – Kids Have Stress Too! and Stress Lessons programs

Strong Minds make for Strong Kids provides resources for parents, caregivers, and educators working with children and teens. The program provides evidence-informed tools and resources for students in preschool up to grade 12, to help them cope with and develop effective ways of dealing with stress. Documents available (in PDF’s) include tips and strategies for dealing with stress, a brochure surrounding how to help kids handle stress, factsheets/tip sheets, stress lessons to integrate into your classroom, and parent guides to stress.

Kids Help Phone – Counsellor in the Classroom

Kids Help Phone’s Counsellor in the Classroom Program promotes the discussion of mental health and well-being among young people. It’s available to students in Grades 6 through 12 across Canada. Classes that participate will learn about mental health, Kids Help Phone’s services and how / where to seek support.

SaskTel Be Kind Online

Be Kind Online aims to end bullying and cyberbullying in our communities. As an organization committed to diversity, inclusion, and acceptance, SaskTel is proud to lead this initiative and help empower those committed to changing online behavior for the better.

Win with Wellness Player Presentation Series 

The Win with Wellness Presentation Series will bring Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation Player Ambassadors into Saskatchewan Schools to present and promote discussion of mental wellness with youth. Scheduling for these presentations is now available. To register, click here.
