The Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation Board of Directors is made up of dedicated community and business leaders who share a passion for making a difference across the province. Together, they provide strategic guidance, governance, and leadership to ensure our programs in health, education, and amateur football continue to create lasting impact for Saskatchewan youth.
CRAIG REYNOLDS
President & CEO, Saskatchewan Roughriders
Since 2015, Craig Reynolds has been at the helm of one of the nation’s most successful sports franchises, the Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club. Reynolds was raised in Foam Lake, Sask., and knows the true meaning of bleeding green after attending many Rider games during his childhood with his family.
Following his small-town upbringing, Craig attended Arizona State University then the University of Saskatchewan, where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with Distinction, and a Masters in Professional Accounting.
Craig brings to the table an extensive business background from his varied personal and business experiences; notably including time as the Riders CFO, helping to guide the organization to financial success with record profits and overseeing the growth of the stabilization fund from $1 million to more than $12 million in five years. He oversaw the operations committee for the 2013 Grey Cup; an event that would go down as one of the most memorable moments in Saskatchewan Roughriders history culminating with the win on home turf. In addition, he was a key player in leading and bringing the vision and living prairie legacy that is new Mosaic Stadium to life.
Craig represents the Riders on the Canadian Football League’s Board of Governors as an Alternate Governor. In addition to his passion for football and the Riders, Craig is an avid community supporter and has the pleasure of serving on the board of directors for the Red Cross and the Globe Theatre. He has been named as one of the province’s brightest young leaders as a member of CBC’s Future 40. Craig has two young children, a son, Noel and a daughter, Neeve.
KENT PAUL
Chief Financial Officer, Saskatchewan Roughriders
Since joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders as the Chief Financial Officer in 2015, Kent Paul has been instrumental in the development and execution of some of the Roughriders biggest initiatives. Kent was born and raised in Saskatoon and has lived his entire life in the province of Saskatchewan giving him a keen knowledge of the fibre of Rider Nation.
He received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan in 2000 and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. Prior to coming to the Roughriders, Kent served in various roles with Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming including the Director of Financial Services and the Director of Strategy and Corporate Performance. He’s previously served on the boards of CPA Saskatchewan and the Financial Executive Institute.
With the Roughriders, Kent had a direct role overseeing building and opening of New Mosaic Stadium, serving as the Executive Lead on the project. He also oversaw creation of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation and worked closely on the bid that saw the Saskatchewan Roughriders awarded the 2020 Grey Cup. Alongside his position as CFO, Kent is a member of the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation Board and the Chair of the Grey Cup 2020 Operating Committee.
Kent and his wife Terry-Lyn live in Regina with their two sons, Ethan and Owen, and their dog Rider.
ZEBA AHMAD
CEO, Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation
Zeba Ahmad, a proud mom of two grown children, is a tireless volunteer locally in Saskatoon, provincially and nationally. Zeba began her professional career as a pharmacist and practiced for over 20 years, before moving on to other professional roles.
She currently serves as the CEO for the Saskatoon Public Schools Foundation as well as providing consulting services for NexGen Energy.
She has served on and chaired several boards including Royal University Hospital Foundation and Saskatoon Community Foundation. Additionally, she was the inaugural chair of Canada’s Great Kitchen Party (formerly Gold Medal Plates) and a member of the Thundering Ahead Campaign for Wanuskewin Heritage Park. She currently serves on Rideau Hall Foundation Board of Directors and most recently joined the Saskatchewan Roughrider Foundation. Zeba also serves as the Honorary Colonel for the 38th Combat Engineer Regiment.
For her community involvement Zeba has received the Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers, named a Top 100 Alumni of Influence, College of Pharmacy & Nutrition, University of Saskatchewan, awarded the 2021 YWCA Woman of Distinction for Community Building and in 2023 was the recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal.
KIMBERLY STONECHILD
Partner, Lavoie Stonechild Law Office
Kimberly is a member of the Muscowpetung First Nation and has been a resident of Prince Albert since birth, interrupted briefly by residence in Saskatoon for the purposes of education and further Ottawa, to study Aboriginal Justice and Criminology on a Federal Level. Kimberly is married to a very patient woodsman from Outlook, SK, and has two lovely daughters.
Kimberly has been at the Saskatchewan Bar 14 years and adds gardening, camping, hunting and as much time outdoors as she can to her lifestyle.
Kimberly’s passion has always drawn her to return home to Prince Albert to work at a grass roots level for the advancement, economic growth and strengthening of First Nation communities. Kimberly holds a firm belief that satisfaction with services is achieved when services are provided by a relatable representative, who is empathetic and invested in the best interest of their community. As a Prince Albert Resident and Status Indian with extensive experience in the unique culture of Prince Albert, she is not only committed to the success of Indigenous communities, but also to equip Indigenous community members, children and families with the resources to encourage the unique spiritual, cultural and social identities to drive the success of Indigenous people.
Kimberly is a partner and owner of Lavoie Stonechild Law Office, with a focus on Indigenous sovereignty over child and family law. She has spent 15 years of her career as a lawyer specializing in Indigenous law and economic development as well as child advocacy and children’s law. She represents First Nation Child Protection Agencies, Indigenous communities, and previously Saskatchewan government with respect to family and preventative services, including economic development at provincial and federal levels, tying the capacity building to sustainability, education, health and lands and resources with said levels of government with a focus on urban and reserve development.
