How long have you been dancing/cheering?
I have been dancing for 17 years.
What are your career aspirations outside of being on the cheer team?
I graduated from the University of Regina with a liberal arts degree this past semester, and I am currently in my second year of dental hygiene at Sask Polytech. Outside of school, I am also a dance teacher at Martin School of Dance and Baton Twirling and Boss Athletics. As well as I coach the University of Regina Dance Team!
I am very passionate about teaching dance and I could not imagine my life without it. The kids I teach and my love of dance are what make it so special, and I truly enjoy every part of it.
What’s your favorite thing to do on a day off?
My favorite thing to do on a day off is hanging out with friends or catch up on things on my to-do list. Something about checking things off a long list brings me so much joy!
What are you most excited for this season?
I am most excited to hear the roar of the great Rider Nation fans and to be back dancing with my girls.
What is your favorite part of Game Day?
My favorite part of game day is definitely our huddle before we walk out at the beginning of the game. It gets me excited to go out and dance because when you do something that you love with people that you love it makes it that much more special
