How long have you been dancing/cheering?
I have been dancing for 19 years.
What are your career aspirations outside of being on the Cheer Team?
I completed my Bachelor of Science majoring in Biology at the University of Regina in the spring of 2021 and had the opportunity to work as a field assistant working on a forest ecology project in Cypress Hills this past summer. In the fall I am starting a Bachelor of Education program with hopes of becoming a high school science teacher. I am very passionate about scientific outreach and love sharing what I have learned through science education.
Outside of school and the cheer team, I am starting my second year as the Artistic Director at Silton Silhouettes and my third year of being a dance instructor there. I love watching my students develop a passion for dance and progress as dancers and as human beings.
What’s your favorite thing to do on a day off?
My favorite thing to do on a day off is relax by watching some Netflix while crocheting and snacking on some chips or popcorn. I also love spending time with my family and friends.
What are you most excited for this season?
I am most excited to see and hear the fans back in the stands again! I have missed the energy that is created in Mosaic Stadium when fans are cheering for our team.
What is your favorite part of Game Day?
My favorite thing about game day is the energy that the fans create in the stadium! I love dancing and cheering for a team that has such amazing fans and that I have the opportunity to do it with the best group of girls by my side.
