ROUGHRIDER FAN DAY, PRESENTED BY CAPITAL AUTO MALL, RETURNS!
The Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to announce the 57th Annual Labour Day Classic, presented by Mosaic, is sold out!
The intense prairie rivalry continues Sunday, September 4th, as the Green and White host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in a can’t-miss game for fans of both teams.
“The environment in Mosaic Stadium for the Labour Day Classic is absolutely electric,” said Roughriders President and CEO Craig Reynolds. “Rider Nation always sets the tone for the game, and we know our sold-out crowd will have a big impact when we go head-to-head with the Bombers.”
Fans who missed out on the Labour Day Classic are encouraged to head to Riderville.com as soon as possible to secure tickets for the Riders final two regular season games of the year: our popular Lights out Game on September 16th and the 13th Fan Appreciation Game, presented by Capital Auto Mall, on October 22nd. Fans can also keep an eye on resale tickets for Labour Day (available through Ticketmaster) which may also become available as the date draws closer.
Family Ticket Packages can still be purchased for the remaining two home games. Starting at $99.00, you can bring your family of four and take in all the events in and around the stadium! Choose from several different sections and pick your favourite view. Family-friendly food packs can be found for as low $34.00!
Additionally, after a two-year hiatus, the Club is incredibly excited to announce the return of Roughrider Fan Day, presented by Capital Auto Mall! On Saturday, September 3rd, come to Mosaic Stadium to enjoy fun experiences for the whole family and meet your favourite Riders!
“We are so happy to be able bring Fan Day back to Rider Nation, a day that means so much to all of us,” said Chief Brand Officer Anthony Partipilo. “We truly have the best fans in the league, and we look forward to hosting our fans for this fun and interactive experience once again.”
Young’s Equipment Gate 1 will open at 12:00 p.m. for fans to enter the Mosaic Stadium and watch our final practice of the week. The concourse will be filled with activities for the family, including inflatables, face painting and a balloon artist. Concessions in Harvard’s Studio 620 lounge will also be open for fans who need a bite to eat or a cold drink.
Following practice, Rider Nation is invited on the field to run, play and take pictures. Then, at 2 p.m., the entire Roughrider team will head to the concourse for a one-hour autograph session! Fan Day will run until 4:00 p.m.
