Coors Light Training Camp Report Day 2

After being inside the gymnasium for walk-thru last night, both players and fans were greeted by gusting winds in the first outdoor practice of training camp. The cold weather didn’t dull the team’s excitement to get back on the turf together.

Besides returning players from last season, like Cody Fajardo, Duke Williams and Nick Marshall, fans saw some familiar faces back in Green and White in Charleston Hughes and Derrick Moncrief, while getting their first glance at star free agent pick up Darnell Sankey.

Those who braved the cold weather may have also caught a glimpse of fan favourite receiver Naaman Roosevelt, who has joined the Club as a guest coach at training camp.

Roster Moves

  • None

Play of the Day

  • Quarterback Cody Fajardo dropped back at the 45-yard line and delivered a dime in a tight window to Shaq Evans at the 15-yard line, who made an athletic over-the-shoulder catch.

Quote of the Day

  • “At the end of the day, I feel like we could be very dynamic. Shaq’s great, he good. I’m great, I’m good; Cody’s great. We just got to put it all together. Like I said, we can talk about it all we want to but we gotta walk. Gotta step up, dominate each-and-every play and show our defenders that they ain’t gonna guard us, not for four quarters… I mean that in the humblest way too.” – Wide Receiver Duke Williams

Tomorrow

  • Practice runs from 9 a.m. to noon at Griffiths Stadium
