Riders Sign 2021 Third Round Pick Bruno LaBelle, Long Snapper Zach Zynomirski

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed National fullback Bruno LaBelle and National long snapper Zach Zynomirski.

LaBelle (6’4-248) signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2021 and remained with the Club through the fall of that year.

The Montreal native was drafted by the Riders in the third round, 20th overall, of the 2021 CFL Draft. He played four collegiate seasons (2017-20) at the University of Cincinnati, seeing action in 46 games on both offence and special teams. The 24-year-old recorded 20 receptions for 150 yards and two touchdowns with the Bearcats.

Zynomirski (6’2-215) joins the Roughriders after most recently spending time with the Calgary Stampeders.

The long snapper played four collegiate seasons (2017-2021) at the University of Western Ontario, winning the Vanier Cup with the Mustangs in 2017 and 2021. Zynomirski recorded nine career tackles and added two more in the 2021 Vanier Cup victory.

Additionally, the Club has released American defensive lineman Ezekiel Rose and moved American wide receiver Jamal Custis to the suspended list.
