Roughriders Unveil Refreshed 2022 Grey Cup Festival Logo

ROUGHRIDERS UNVEIL REFRESHED 2022 GREY CUP FESTIVAL LOGO

As the CFL gears up for the 108th Grey Cup game on Sunday, the Saskatchewan Roughriders are pleased to unveil the 2022 Grey Cup Festival logo.

This refreshed logo keeps many elements of the 2020 Festival Logo, including the vast Saskatchewan landscape highlighted through golden wheatfields and the beautiful shades of green in celebration of the Roughriders as host of this uniquely Canadian event.

Refreshed design elements include:

  • A font, colour and year change to the date at the top of the mark and the addition of wheat sheaf bookends
  • Removal of the shading in “Grey Cup Festival” to create more contrast with the background
  • Reduction of the outline colours around the mark to create greater dimensionality and a cleaner look
  • The word Saskatchewan has been made larger in size and the colour is bolder, leading to the removal of the wheat sheaf bookends, which were moved to the top of the mark

“We were so happy with the 2020 Grey Cup logo and how it represented the beauty of Saskatchewan and our pride as Rider fans as hosts of the Grey Cup,” said Chief Brand Officer Anthony Partipilo. “And while we were heartbroken to not be able to host the Grey Cup in 2020, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the CFL’s heartland in 2022 with this refreshed logo, and some exciting new plans for the Grey Cup Festival.”

The Saskatchewan Roughriders are set to host the 109th Grey Cup at Mosaic Stadium in Regina on November 20, 2022. Tickets are already available for 2022 Roughrider season ticket holders. Those wishing to secure their Grey Cup tickets now can do so by becoming a 2022 season ticket holder at Riderville.com. More details, including the public on sale date will be announced in the new year.

2022 Grey Cup Festival merchandise is already on sale at the Rider Stores at Mosaic Stadium in Regina and Midtown in Saskatoon as well as across Canada and the world at theriderstore.ca.
