August 1st is Thursday Night Football (presented by Bamboo Shoots)

Kickoff your long weekend right with Thursday Night Football in the Queen City. We want you to #UniteinGreen as we pull out all the stops for this week’s game Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have partnered with the Queen City Exhibition for a truly unique game day experience. Your ticket to Thursday’s game not only gets you into see the on-field excitement, you’ll also get free entry to the fair and all the perks that come with admission.

Show up a few hours before kickoff to eat your weight in mini donuts before you head to Confederation Park for a pre-game Tom Cochrane Concert. Head over to the south concourse at halftime to hear country star Chad Brownlee. After the game, you’ll be able to head straight back into the QCX from the stadium to watch April Wine in the park or maybe ride the ferris wheel for a bird’s eye view of our beautiful city at night.

Harvard’s Studio 620 on the west side of the Stadium will also be open for three hours after the game. Take in the 620 CKRM post-game show and relive the game with your friends and a cold one. Remember to get a safe ride home!

With the Queen City Ex in full swing and construction on Lewvan Drive, Thursday is a perfect day to take Rider Transit (presented by WorkSafe Saskatchewan) to and from the stadium. Rider Transit begins offering rides two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff and runs for an hour after the game is over. Your Rider game ticket gets you on the bus for free. Find all the pick-up locations here

Downtown – Due to construction, pickup locations for all home games until the end of September have been changed to Saskatchewan Drive at Hamilton Street eastbound (next to the Delta Hotel) and on 11th Avenue and Hamilton Street westbound (next to the Service Canada Building)

On-site paid parking will be honoured, though shifted slightly to the south to accommodate the fair. Please enter from Lewvan Drive and you will be directed accordingly.
