Riders add Scott McHenry

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today that they have signed non-import receiver Scott McHenry to the practice roster. Financial details of the signing were not released.

McHenry (6’2 – 217 lbs) was most recently a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In 2010, the Saskatchewan product played in 10 games for the Bombers after attending training camp with the Roughriders. The 24-year old was originally drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the fourth round (32nd overall) of the 2009 CFL Canadian Draft.

Over the course of his college career at the University of Saskatchewan, McHenry tallied 125 receptions for 2,104 yards and was named to back-to-back East West Bowls in 2007 and 2008.
