Riders and Ti-Cats trade Receivers

The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club announced they have acquired import wide receiver Prechae Rodriguez from the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. In exchange the Ti-Cats will receive non-import receiver Adam Nicolson and a third round pick in the 2011 CFL Canadian Draft.

Rodriguez (6’5 – 208 lbs) spent the last two seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats after originally signing with the team as a free agent in May, 2008. In 26 games, the Auburn product had 115 receptions for 1,594 yards and ten touchdowns.

The 25-year old had a stand out season in his rookie year in 2008 when he had 70 receptions for 1,099 yards and seven touchdowns in 14 games which earned him the acknowledgement as the East Division’s Most Outstanding Rookie.
