For Rob Bagg, November 29, 2009 will go down as one of the worst days of his life.  Not only did his Saskatchewan Roughriders lose the Grey Cup on the final play against Montreal at McMahon Stadium, but the 25-year old wide receiver from Kingston, Ontario broke his collarbone on Saskatchewan's final offensive play of the game.

The much-publicized threat of a lockout in the Canadian Football League in 2010 has become nothing more than a way to fill space in newspapers and on blogs over the past six weeks.

As the snow melts on the turf at Mosaic Stadium, Saskatchewan Roughriders players and fans alike are turning their attention to the 2010 Canadian Football League season.

A study says a domed stadium to replace the aging home of the CFL’s Saskatchewan Roughriders would benefit the province, but that doesn’t mean it’s a done deal.

The first few weeks on the job have been busy ones for new Saskatchewan Roughriders General Manager Brendan Taman.

2009 Canadian Football League Most Outstanding Defensive Player John Chick held a news conference on Monday in Regina to say his final farewells.  Chick has signed a 3-year contract with the NFL's Indianapolis Colts and is loading up his young family to head back to the U.S. after three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Happy New Year? The start of 2010 has proven to be interesting times for the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

The hours have turned into days, and eventually it will be weeks.  Before you know it, years will have gone by since the 2009 Grey Cup game but the devastation inflicted on the Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Rider Nation is going to live on forever.

There will be a new Grey Cup champion in 2009.
