PRO: Second season with the Riders…signed free agent contract with Saskatchewan in December, 2008…originally drafted in first round (4th overall) by B.C. in 2002 CFL Draft.

2009:
Dressed in 16 regular season games, the West Final and the Grey Cup game…started nine of those games at slotback…made Rider debut and had one catch for nine yards in week 1…had four catches for 66 yards in week 7…had four catches for 90 yards in week 15…finished the season with 23 receptions for 317 yards.

2008:
Started 15 games at slotback for the B.C. Lions…also started in both playoff games…missed final three regular season games due to injury…finished the regular season with 50 receptions for 640 yards and three touchdowns…had four catches for 61 yards and a touchdown in the West semi-final versus Saskatchewan.

CAREER:
Started all 18 regular season games and West Division Final at slotback for the Lions in 2007…led the Lions with 86 receptions for 1,158 yards and seven touchdowns in the regular season…was named to the West Division and CFL all-star teams…recorded three 100-yard receiving games and earned Most Outstanding Canadian honours for the second time in his career…started 11 regular season games for the Lions in 2006…also started at slotback in the West Final and Grey Cup game…missed seven regular season games after tearing his MCL in week 1 versus the Roughriders…finished the year with 44 receptions for 507 yards and three touchdowns…also posted a playoff career-high nine catches for 98 yards in West division Final…started all 18 regular season games and West Final for B.C. in 2005…recorded his second consecutive 1,000-yard receiving season with 1,042 yards on 78 catches…also added four touchdowns…started all 18 regular season games in 2004 along with the West Final and Grey Cup game…finished the season with 83 catches for 1,220 yards and seven touchdowns…was named to the 2004 West Division all-star team and received the CFL’s Most Outstanding Player award...was also named the Most Valuable Canadian in the Grey Cup game…Dressed in 15 regular season games in 2003 with the Lions…finished the season with 41 receptions for 615 yards and seven touchdowns…dressed in all 18 regular season games in 2002 as a rookie…finished the year with 46 catches for 735 yards and six touchdowns…was named the CFL’s Most Outstanding Rookie.

COLLEGE:
In his senior year at the University of Regina, Clermont tallied 41 receptions for 807 yards and 14 touchdowns, earning him a position on the CIS Al-Canadian Team, a Canada West all-star honour, a Canada West Most Outstanding Player Award, and an invitation to play in the East-West Shrine Game to compete against top NCAA graduating players…majored in Business Administartion and Marketing…was inducted into the Regina Rams Hall of Fame in 2007.

PERSONAL:
Jason, along with his wife Renae, stepdaughter and son make Regina their year-round home…among numerous charity and community appearances, Jason also works as a real estate agent…Jason was born and raised and Regina and was a stand-out football player at Robert Usher Collegiate...enjoys playing hockey and basketball and is an avid golfer.
