Donation Policies and Procedures
The Saskatchewan Roughrider Football Club does accept formal requests for the donation of certain types of Roughrider memorabilia. However, due to the large number of requests the team receives on a daily basis, the Roughriders are only able to accept requests from registered non-profit organizations and groups in the province of Saskatchewan.
*Please note that we are unable to accomodate requests for families and individuals.
The following policies and procedures must be adhered to:
- All requests must be submitted in writing, via mail, email or fax submission. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PHONE REQUESTS.
- All requests must come on the charity’s official letterhead. Please include a copy of your charitable tax id # for consideration.
- Letter must contain the date of the event, the contact person’s name, phone number and complete address, the type of fundraiser, expected number of attendees and where the proceeds will go.
- Unless otherwise stated, organizations will receive one item per year in an attempt to help the greatest number of people.
- Although our policies allow us to be generous with our donations, submitting a request does not guarantee your organization will receive a donation.
- Merchandise given from the Saskatchewan Roughriders for use in charitable auctions cannot be sold later on for profit.
- No Roughrider game tickets can be donated due to the high demand.
- Due to the tremendous volume of requests, we require 6-8 weeks notice for processing of the request.
- Questions or email requests can be sent to community@saskriders.com
You may mail your request on official letterhead of the beneficiary to:
