Riders land first overall pick in CFL Draft | Saskatchewan Roughriders

The Saskatchewan Roughriders announced today they have acquired Toronto’s first overall pick in today’s CFL Canadian Draft, along with their second round selection (8th overall).

In return, the Argonauts will receive the Roughriders two first round selections (2nd and 4th overall) in today’s draft along with non-import punter Jamie Boreham.



•    The last time the Roughriders selected first overall in the CFL Canadian Draft was in 2001 when they picked defensive lineman Scott Schultz.
